I have a Bachelor of Advanced Science (Mathematics) from the University of Sydney. After leaving school, I was split between Maths and the Sciences - but found a way to do both! In my spare time I enjoy walking my dog and reading. I tutor all levels of Maths from Standard to Extension II.

I am a qualified teacher specialising in Maths, Physics and IT. I have lectured at North Sydney TAFE, and also at a computer school in Cleveland Ohio USA where I worked for 3 years are a programmer in Industrial Control. I have also worked at Lucas Heights on the atomic reactor, designed databases for various organisations, and used calculus and statistics in my work as an engineer. Much of my tutoring is from experience.

I am currently studying Chemical Engineering with a Master of Biomedical Engineering at the University of NSW. I enjoy playing sports in my leisure time. I tutor Chemistry, Maths and Physics (and Studies of Religion if needed).

I am currently studying a Bachelor of Architecture and Law at the University of Sydney. I love watching movies and drawing! My favourite animal is a dinosaur, and if i had any super-power I would love to time travel back in time (so I can go see real dinosaurs). I tutor Maths and ESL English.

I am a retired teacher. I have casually taught at Sydney Institute of TAFE. I have a Bachelor of Pure Mathematics from the University of Sydney and have been teaching for over 50 years. I currently tutor all levels of mathematics (including Extension 2, 1st and 2nd year university).

Meet our Founder

Walter Sprinkle: After being frustrated with conventional teaching practices - I felt I could do it better, only if I could connect more with my students. Having coached basketball teams, I noticed that the stand-out players had a passion and an enthusiasm which I hoped to somehow replicate in the classroom. So after more than 20 years of teaching various schools around country NSW and Sydney, I ended up founding Smart Moves. I especially enjoy seeing student faces after they finally see the fruits of their labour paying off. Today I am semi-retired (I still pop in occasionally to help with training the tutors) but enjoy travelling much more especially to my hometown (in the USA).
