One-on-one tutoring
In our experience, one-on-one tutoring is the only way to address an individual student's needs. Every tutor at SMCA, when assigned to a student, has the responsibility to assess and keep track of their student's level of progress and ability and then develop a teaching structure that will most effectively aid their student's study.
One of the biggest problems that students encounter in large classes is that they find no opportunity to have their questions answered. By focussing solely on the individual student, our one-on-one sessions provide an environment where questions are encouraged and answers forthcoming.
We believe that it is in being flexible and tailoring our teaching style around the individual student that we, at SMCA, provide a service that cannot be found in other coaching environments.

Holiday seminars
At the end of each term, students often find themselves lost - overwhelmed by the content that they have been trying to keep up with. Our holiday seminars provide students with an opportunity to review course content with a direction in mind, allowing them to gain a better understanding of their subjects' requirements. Skill building is a major focus of our seminars. we have found, students tend to neglect strengthening their course related skills as they cover increasing amounts of content.
The focus of our seminars is to build a strong foundation for their learning skills in order to aid them in their future schooling years.
Our students have benefited immensely from these seminars improving their skills in reading, understanding and answering typical questions found in the HSC.

Essay refining
Our essay refining service is provided to allow students with additional guidance in refining their essays. With this, students are able to quickly identify weaknesses and ways to improve in their writing, regardless of the subject.
This is provided as an online service so that students can receive their feedback promptly without having to travel to and from our centre.
It should also be noted that this is not an essay writing service as the purpose is to work with and improve on each students ideas.
